Presenting the FlatFormer concept!
FlatFormer is a fully-flat and modular EV platform developed together with our partner HINO Motors, Toyota’s truck arm.
FlatFormer leverages Hino’s extensive expertise as a commercial vehicle manufacturer and REE’s innovative REEcorner™ technology.
This modular platform will serve as the basis for endless applications and multiple target markets, from delivery companies to Mobility-as-a-Service.
DESIGN FOR SOCIETY
The FlatFormer is capable of carrying a customized Mobility Service Module that can carry passengers, goods and deliver services. The Mobility Service Module can be easily detached from the EV platform and, once detached, can serve as an independent, stand-alone unit.
This will make services and goods easily accessible to society, leaving the platform to be operated separately and continue on its next mission.
